Diversity and Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
The Office of Diversity and Equity continues to offer State-Mandated Diversity Training and Sexual Harassment Prevention Training this semester. Both training sessions are mandatory for all University employees. Ongoing training will be provided by the University’s Office of Diversity and Equity (ODE).
State-Mandated Diversity Training is a 3-hour seminar and the State-Mandated Sexual Harassment Prevention Training is a 2-hour seminar.

To register for one of the above listed training sessions, please visit the University's Professional Development website by clicking here. Once you sign on, please click on “view available courses” on the right hand of the screen. This will bring up all of UConn’s training courses in alphabetical order. Click on either Diversity Training or Sexual Harassment Prevention Training to see the available dates. To register for the course, click on the date you would like to attend and then click in the block titled “Register For This Session.”
ODE strongly urges employees to register early as seating is limited and will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.

Training Notice
You will be required to sign an attestation sheet at the end of each training session.
In the event of inclement weather, please call (860) 486-3768 on the day of the scheduled session for information pertaining to the Storrs campus.
Please contact Peggy Hollister at 486-9106 if you will need Sign Language Interpreter Service or Accessibility considerations. ODE must be notified at least 2 weeks prior to the session in order to confirm availability.
ODE will be visiting the regional campuses in the spring 2010 to provide additional training. Employees at the regional campuses are invited to attend sessions at Storrs, but will not be reimbursed for mileage.
Refreshments will not be offered.
